What's Included

The Raychem DR-25 upgrade replaces standard PET braid and heat shrink throughout your SVK harness with genuine DR-25 tubing. All harness branches, connector entries, and exposed runs are covered. This is integrated directly into your SVK harness build — not a retrofit kit.

1-Year Warranty: Backed by a 1-year warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship. See our FAQ for full warranty details.

Why DR-25?

Raychem DR-25 is an irradiated polyolefin heat-shrink tubing manufactured by TE Connectivity (formerly Raychem). It is specified in aerospace and military wiring standards for its resistance to extreme temperatures, chemicals, abrasion, and flame. It's also widely used in professional motorsport for its durability in high-heat environments.
Standard PVC or polyolefin heat shrink is rated to around 85–105°C and offers minimal chemical resistance. DR-25 is rated to 135°C continuous with a 175°C peak, is self-extinguishing, and resists virtually all automotive fluids including fuels, oils, and coolant. In a high-boost or forced induction environment, the difference in longevity is significant.
Not necessarily. Any turbocharged or high-output engine benefits from DR-25 coverage, especially near the exhaust manifold, turbo, and intercooler piping where heat soak is significant. For track cars and dedicated race builds, it's considered standard practice. For street builds, it ensures the harness will outlast the car.
Select "Yes" under the Raychem DR-25 Wiring option in the Motorsport Upgrades section of the harness build calculator on your vehicle's page. This upgrade is built into the harness from scratch — not applied after the fact.
The Raychem DR-25 wiring upgrade is available for all SVK harness platforms: MK4 Supra (JZA80), MK3 Supra (MA70), Lexus SC300/SC400/Soarer (Z30), and universal harnesses.
