MK3 Supra Fuel Pump Hanger Modification

8AN feed & 6AN return · PTFE washers · 12 AWG wiring · E85 compatible · custom sizes on request

Starting ~$250 Quote required

If you're upgrading the fuel system on your MK3 Supra (MA70), the factory plastic hanger nipples are the first thing that needs to go. They're a liability on a high-pressure, high-flow setup and won't survive a serious fuel system build. We modify your existing hanger by removing those nipples and welding in proper AN fittings — 8AN on the feed side and 6AN on the return side as standard — so you can run clean braided AN lines all the way to the fuel rail.

The fittings seal with PTFE Teflon washers, which are chemically inert, E85-safe, and won't degrade over time. Fuel pump wiring is done in 12 AWG, properly sized for the current draw of high-flow in-tank pumps. You ship us your hanger, we do the work, and ship it back. If your build calls for different fitting sizes, just ask — we can accommodate custom configurations. We also consider other vehicles on request.

The Right Fittings. The Right Way.

The factory MK3 Supra (MA70) hanger uses push-on plastic nipples designed for the stock fuel system — not the higher pressures and flow rates of a performance pump upgrade. Welded AN fittings with PTFE Teflon washers eliminate that failure point entirely. Paired with 12 AWG wiring sized for real pump current draw and materials that are fully E85 compatible, the result is a hanger you can build a serious fuel system around.

Common Questions

The factory plastic fuel nipples on the hanger are removed and proper AN fittings are welded in their place — 8AN on the feed side and 6AN on the return side as standard. PTFE Teflon washers seal the fittings for a leak-free, fuel-safe connection. Fuel pump wiring is done in 12 AWG, properly rated for high-current pump draw. Everything is E85 compatible.
Yes. The standard configuration is 8AN feed and 6AN return, but if your fuel system calls for something different, just let us know when you request a quote. We can accommodate other fitting sizes.
Contact us first to confirm scope and get a quote. Once confirmed, you ship your hanger to us. We perform the modification and ship it back to you. Turnaround time will be discussed at the quoting stage.
We specialize in the MK3 Supra (MA70) hanger, but we're open to evaluating other applications. If you have a different vehicle with a similar steel hanger, send us photos and details and we'll let you know if we can do it.
Yes — fully E85 compatible. The welded AN fittings and PTFE Teflon washers are chemically inert and resistant to ethanol-based fuels. Whether you're running pump gas, E85, or any flex fuel blend, the fittings and seals won't degrade. Just make sure your pump, injectors, and fuel lines are also rated for E85.
PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) is one of the most chemically resistant materials available. Unlike rubber seals, PTFE washers won't swell, crack, or degrade from fuel exposure — including ethanol and E85. They create a permanent, leak-free seal at the fitting interface that will last the life of the build.
High-flow in-tank fuel pumps draw significantly more current than the stock unit — often 10–15 amps or more under load. 12 AWG wire is properly sized for this current level, minimizing voltage drop so the pump gets clean, full voltage. Undersized wiring causes heat buildup and reduced pump performance, especially at high demand.
